Andrea Joy Lesane

Miss Andrea Joy LeSane, 52, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at VCU/MCV Medical Center, Richmond, VA . Miss LeSane was born on November 15, 1960 in Brooklyn, NY to the late George LeSane and Lucy L. LeSane. She was a graduate of Long Island City High School, NY and received her Associates Degree in data processing from LaGuardia Community College, Long Island, NY. She continued to further her education, receiving her Bachelor of Science in computer technology from Grambling State University. She later attended Southside Community College, graduating with honors with a degree in computer operations. She was formerly employed by Bank of America, Richmond, VA, working in computer operations and a unit secretary at Community Memorial Healthcenter, South Hill, VA. She was preceded in death by her father, George LeSane. Cherishing her memories are her mother, Lucy L. LeSane of Chase City, VA; two brothers, Gregory D. LeSane, Sr. and Craig M. LeSane; one sister, Terese Richardson (Dorian); two sister-in-law, Corrie C. LeSane and Michelle M. LeSane; two nephews, Gregory D. LeSane, Jr. and Christdion LeSane; three nieces, Jadeyn M. LeSane, Jarae M. LeSane and Bethany N. LeSane; great-aunt, Hilda F. Miller and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Miss Andrea Joy LeSane will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 13, 2013 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Elder Kenyatta Evan, officiating.  Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park, South Hill, VA. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5:00 until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
