Mr. Anderson Jefferies, Jr., 48, of Danville, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke, VA.
Mr. Jefferies was born in South Boston, VA on June 4, 1975 to Annie Bell Clay and the late Anderson Jefferies, Sr. At an early age, he joined St. Level Baptist Church in Clarksville, VA. He was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School in Skipwith, VA, and most recently attended Bartending School in Danville. Mr. Jefferies was currently employed by Ceasars Virginia, Danville as a bartender. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching football, playing his PS4, and reading books; his favorite author was James Patterson.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Aurelia Jefferies; maternal grandmother, Nannie Davis, and an uncle, Henry Jefferies.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Annie Bell Clay of Danville, VA; two brothers, Tobias Jefferies of Colorado Springs, CO and Tavias Jefferies of Danville, VA; two sisters, Veronica Olivis of Martinsville, VA and Charonica Mosley of Chase City, VA; two nephews, Isaiah Olivis and Xavier Jefferies, both of Danville, VA; one niece, Rashique Jefferies of Collinsville, VA, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
Funerals services for Mr. Anderson Jefferies, Jr. will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Toney Smith officiating. Burial will follow in St. Level Baptist Church Cemetery, Clarksville, VA. Public viewing will begin on Saturday from 12:00 Noon until 1:45 P.M.
