Mr. Alphonso Gregory Watson Jr., 30, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Mr. Gregory was born in South Hill, VA, August 2, 1981 to Alphonso Gregory Watson Sr. and Lucille Russell Watson. He was a 2000 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School, Skipwith, VA and a member of Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA. Cherishing his memories are one son, Alphonso Kamarian Watson of Chase City, VA; his parents, Alphonso G. Watson Sr. and Lucille R. Watson of Chase City, VA; one sister, Wendy Watson of Chase City, VA; two brothers, A. Philemon Barnes of Newark, NJ and Patrick Harris of Chase City, VA; god-sister, Kimberly Ragsdale of Baltimore, MD; one nephew, Jamark Green; one niece, Ramia J. Watson; one great niece, Jordan B. Green, devoted friends, Cary Salley, Oshal Tucker, Obrien Carden, Terry Bowers and Treymane Wilson, special friend, Kemisha Moore and a  vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Alphonso Gregory Watson, Jr. will be conducted 3:00 P.M. Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Silone Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. Melvin J. Palmer, officiating. Burial will follow in Silone Memorial Garden, Chase City, VA. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
