Allie Beatrice Blizzard

Mrs. Allie Beatrice Blizzard (better known as Alice), 79, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Blizzard was born in Mecklenburg County, VA November 18, 1932 to the late Clarence and Beatrice Williams. She attended Easter Elementary School and graduated from Huntington High School, Newport News, VA. She was a member of Diamond Grove RZUA Church, Union Level, VA where she served as a missionary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Cherishing her memories are her husband, Robert L. Blizzard of Chase City, VA; five children, Dolphus Christian (Diana), Larry Christian (Brenda),  Timothy Blizzard and Jeffrey Blizzard all of Baltimore, MD, Tony Blizzard (Claudette); 7 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Cleveland Williams of Washington, DC, Woodrow W. Williams (Elenza) of Chase City, VA and Robert Williams (Priscilla) of New Jersey; two brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Allie Beatrice Blizzard (Alice) will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Diamond Grove RZUA Church, Union Level, VA with Rev. Tori  Coleman, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing for Mrs. Blizzard will be on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, Virginia.
