Allan Phillip Ferrer

Mr. Allan Phillip Ferrer, 84, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at CJW Chippenham Hospital, Richmond, VA.

Mr. Ferrer was born in New York, December 5, 1939 to the late Phillip and Elaine Ferrer. He was a graduate of High School of Commerce in New York City and a veteran of the U.S. Army. His previous employment includes Everfast Fabrics, New York City Docks and owner and operator of Allan’s Wines and Spirits in Bronx, NY. Upon relocating from Jersey City, NJ to Virginia in 2011, he became a member of Saint John Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and a cook for the summer camp. He also volunteered at the Clarksville Food Pantry and was a member of the Occoneechee Chapter of AARP.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Inez, daughters, Kisha McLain (Jerome) and Carla Murray; son, Keith Ferrer (LaToya); grandchildren, Tasha McLain, Roman McLain, and Cassidy Ferrer; sisters, Carol Ferrer, Yvette Cordova and Mavia Cordova; and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Saint John Baptist Church, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Demario Covington, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Public viewing for family and friends will be on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
