Alice Juanita Couch

Mrs. Alice Juanita Couch 51, of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008 at VCU/MCV Health System, Richmond, VA.  Mrs. Couch was born in Mecklenburg County, VA May 30, 1957 to the late Henry and Nora Powell Pamplin.  She was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl L. Powell, Henry Pamplin Jr. and Nathaniel Pamplin.  Cherishing her memories are her husband Thomas Couch, of Chase City, VA; three sons, Keith Hayes of Afghanistan, Alphonso Pamplin, and Thomas Couch Jr. both of Richmond, VA; two daughters, Trimica Couch,  and Juanita Pamplin both of Richmond, VA; 11 grandchildren, one brother, Charles Pamplin of Newark, NJ; one sister, Doris Pamplin of South Hill, VA; four sisters-in-law, Gloria Pamplin of Newark, NJ, Frances Faison of Baltimore, MD, Cindy Couch and Evelyn Robinson of Chase City, VA; two brothers-in-law, Tyree Couch of Chase City, VA and James Elam of Richmond, VA; a devoted nephew, Antonio Pamplin and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.  Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Juanita Couch will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Concord Baptist Church, Chase City, VA with Rev. E. Douglas Reams, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
