Alice Elizabeth Moore

Miss Alice Elizabeth Moore, 60, of Richmond, VA and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, April 19, 2020 at CJW Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, VA. Miss Moore, affectionately known as “Slim”, was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on July 3, 1959 to Mildred Fuller and the late John Piercy. She received her education in the public schools of Mecklenburg County, and was a member of Greater Union Baptist Church in Chase City, VA. Miss Moore was a former employee of Morningside of Bellgrade Assisted Living for 12 years. She loved spending time with her grandkids, cooking Sunday meals, listening to her “oldie” music, and caring for the elderly. She leaves to cherish her loving memories three children, Tamika Moore (Harvey), Keisha Moore (Dominick) and Abdul Martin all of Richmond, VA; seventeen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; her mother, Mildred Fuller of Chase City, VA; a devoted sister, Mary Moore Glass (Olanda) of Chase City, VA; five brothers, John Moore of Baltimore, MD, Willie “Boe” Moore (Tiffany), Don Fuller (Alma), Bruce Fuller and Michael Fuller (Tanisha) all of Chase City, VA; her best friends, Anna Hector and David Martin, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to name. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA.
