Alice B. Logan

Mrs. Alice B. Logan, 86, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest on Monday, January 1, 2024 at her residence.

Mrs. Logan was born in Mecklenburg County, VA on January 30, 1937 to the late Thomas and Della Evans. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Boydton. Mrs. Logan was formerly employed as a seamstress at Hampco Apparel. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo, cards, dancing and cooking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Logan, Sr.; five children, baby girl Della, Shirley, Walter, Jr., Betty and James Logan; and six grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory three daughters, Ernestine Logan-Simmons (Albert), Adele Logan and Dorothy Greene all of Boydton, VA; brother, George Evans (Helen) of Boydton, VA; sister, Edna Gray of Ohio, four sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Alice B. Logan will be conducted 12:00 Noon Friday, January 5, 2024 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Tyrone Craighead officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Boydton, VA. Public viewing for family and friends will be held on Thursday from 2:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
