Mr. Alfred L. Hayes Sr., 49 of Bronx, NY and formerly of Chase City, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Einstein-Weiler Hospital, Bronx, NY. Mr. Hayes was born in Chase City, VA March 23, 1956 to the late Macarol and Leola Thomas Hayes. He was formerly employed by Burlington Industries of Clarksville, VA. Mr. Hayes is survived by his wife, Clarice Hayes; one daughter, Natasha Hayes Wright; three sons, Brian Hayes, Alfred Hayes Jr. and Romeka Hayes; three granddaughters; one sister, Betty Cates; one brother, James Hayes; one son-in-law, Don Wright; one daughter-in-law, Shawanada Hayes; Funeral services for Mr. Alfred L. Hayes will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home, Chase City, VA with Brother Jim White, officiating. Burial followed in the Hayes Family Cemetery, Chase City, VA. Arrangements were by Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1304 North Main Street, Chase City, VA.
