Mr. Al Cornell Covington, II, 28, of South Hill, VA entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 22, 2023.

Mr. Covington, affectionately known as “Bam” or “C-Boy”, was born in Prince George’s County, MD on January 25, 1995 to Al C. Covington and Michele Crutchfield. He received his formal education through George Washington High School in Danville, VA graduating in 2013 and was currently taking classes to become a nursing assistant. He was a member of Unity Baptist Fellowship Church in Danville, and was presently employed by M. C. Dean in Boydtonl, VA. His personal interests include spending time with family, music, and animals, especially his dogs Sage, Star, and Christian.

Mr. Covington was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Esther and Alfonza Covington, and maternal grandfather, Carol Evans, Sr.

He is survived by his parents, Al C. Covington of Danville, VA and Michele Crutchfield of South Hill, VA; siblings, Shannon Covington of Alexandria, VA and Xavier Covington of Halifax, VA; his maternal grandmother, Cecil Crutchfield  of South Hill, VA; aunts and uncles, Jennifer Simmons (Jonathan) of Beltsville, MD, Teresa Covington-Cobbs and Bryant Covington; cousins, Ricky Cobbs, Keisha Venable, Ty Cobbs, Ryan Cobbs, J. Darius Simmons II, Jacqueline Simmons, and Jocelyn Simmons, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.

Funeral services for Mr. Al Cornell Covington, II will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Carnell Bagley, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Taylor RZUA Church Cemetery, Boydton, VA.
