Adelle C. Richards

Mrs. Adelle C. Richards, 81, of Bullock, NC entered eternal rest Friday, June 13, 2014 in Arlington, VA. Mrs. Richards was born in Bullock, NC on August 7, 1932 to the late Earnest and Lue Johnson Clark. At an early age, she joined Baptist Grove Baptist Church, Bullock, NC where she served faithfully until her health began to decline.  Mrs. Richards was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Richards. She leaves to cherish her memories four children, Willie Clark (Darlene) of Trenton, NC, Georgetta Burnette (Darryl) of Oxford, NC, Johnny Richards of Bullock, NC and Larry Richards (Sonya) of Henderson, NC;  five grandchildren, Ishna, Larrisa, Mario, Daniel and Woody; five siblings,  Ernest Clark (Bernice) of Alexandria, VA, Margie Friend (Wilson) of Richmond, VA, Mary Baptist (Floyd) of Clarksville, VA, Annie Bell (Eugene) of Chase City, VA and Jake Clark (Portia) of Arlington, VA; four aunts, Thelma Murray, Zelma Burwell, Cora Lee Royster and Mattie Clark and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.  Funeral services for Mrs. Adelle C. Richards will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, June 20, 2014 at Baptist Grove Baptist Church, Bullock, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA.   Service 11:00 A.M.
