Adam Tyree Hayes

Mr. Adam Tyree Hayes, 57, of Boydton, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, October 28, 2009 in Boydton, VA. Mr. Hayes was born in Farmville, VA May 15, 1952 to the parentage of the late Edward B. Jr. and Nettie H. Hayes. Mr. Hayes was a graduate of Bluestone Senior High School and a member of Saint Luke Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA. He was a retiree of New Jersey Bell. He was employed there for over twenty years. Tyree enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting and fishing. Cherishing his memories are his mother, Mrs. Nettie H. Hayes of Baltimore, MD; two brothers, Edward III (Brenda) of Mechanicsville, VA, Thomas (Lottie) of Chase City, VA; two sisters, Joyce Williams (Andrew) of Baltimore, MD and Jane Manzel Dancy (Joseph) of North Canton, OH; three nieces, Stephanie Hayes, LaDonna Hayes and Khida Moore (Terrell); three nephews Thomas Hayes Jr., Eddie Hayes, IV and Matthew Dancy; one great-nephew, Brandon and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. Adam Tyree Hayes will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 2, 2009 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Andrew Williams, officiating. The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to the service. Mr. Hayes may be viewed Monday only from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
