William Latiker, Jr.

Mr. William Latiker, Jr. , 87, of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Sentara MeadowView Terrace, Clarksville, VA. Mr. Latiker was born in Clarksville, VA on October 20, 1929 to the late Emma Townes. He attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Clarksville, VA. Mr. Latiker was formerly employed by Burlington Industries, retiring after 33 years of service. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his wife, Estelle Revis Latiker; one granddaughter, Cydni Revis and one brother, James Townes. Cherishing his memories are four children, Luvenia Latiker of Boydton, VA, William Marshall Latiker of Richmond, VA, Karl Revis (Shirley) of Buffalo Junction, VA and Calvin Revis of Leesburg, VA; seven grandchildren, Derrick Downey, Latasha Revis, Kimberly Revis, Crystal Revis, Calvin W. Revis, Jr., Sharde’ Latiker and Brittany Latiker; numerous great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Virginia Puryear, Alberta Smith, Gladys Craddock; three nieces; one nephew, and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mr. William Latiker, Jr. will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the chapel of C. H. Harris Funeral Home, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Dr. Freddie Terry, officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Clarksville, VA. Public viewing will be held on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. Arrangements are by C. H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
