Lillie A. Terry

Mrs. Lillie A. Terry, 54, of Buffalo Junction, VA entered eternal rest Friday, April 5, 2013 at Hock Family Pavilion, Durham, NC. Mrs. Terry was born in Halifax County, VA March 7, 1959 to the late Leonard and Viola Richardson Hilliard. She was a member of Saint John Baptist Church, Buffalo Junction, VA where she was the former church clerk, President of the Senior Choir and served on the hospitality committee.  She was previously employed at Hardee’s of Clarksville for 21 years, Burlington Industries and was currently employed at the Murdoch Center, Butner, NC  for ten years until her health began to fail. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sarah Hilliard and Frances Hilliard; and one brother, Peter Paschall. Cherishing her memories are her husband, Mr. Eugene Terry of Buffalo Junction, VA; one daughter, Nicole H. Terry (Carroll); three sons, Calvin, Michael and Christopher Terry all of Buffalo Junction, VA; two grandchildren, Derick and Kashawn Hilliard; six sisters, Mattie S. Hilliard and Dorothy Hilliard of South Boston, VA, Blanchie Hilliard, Nannie Smith and Rosa Newton all of Clarksville, VA and Mary Harrison (Gillis) of Littleton, NC;  two brothers, Jerry Hilliard of Henderson, NC and Leonard Hilliard, Jr. (Jackie) of Clarkton, NC; one brother-in-law, Lloyd Terry and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie A. Terry will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Saint John Baptist Church, Buffalo Junction, VA with Rev. Charles Sands, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Clarksville, VA. Services 2:00 P.M.
