Mr. Christopher Lamont Tucker, 38, of Richmond, VA and formerly of Clarksville, VA entered eternal rest Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Avanta at Roanoke. Mr. Tucker was born in Mecklenburg County, VA April 30, 1972 to Prince Edward Jr. and Carolyn Roberts Tucker. He was a 1991 graduate of Bluestone Senior High School and a member of Rocky Mount Baptist Church, Skipwith, VA. Mr. Tucker was previously employed with Phillip Morris of Richmond, VA. Cherishing his memories are his parent Prince Edward Jr. and Carolyn R. Tucker of Clarksville, VA; one sister, Cynthia White (Dwayne) of Richmond, VA; two brothers, Prince E. Tucker III (Connie) and Marcus A. Tucker all of Atlanta, GA; paternal grandmother, Mary Alice Tucker of Fayetteville, NC; paternal great-grandmother, Bessie Snead of Tappahannock, VA; five aunts, seven uncles and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.  Funeral services for Mr. Christopher L. Tucker will conducted 12:00 NoonThursday, June 10, 2010 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Linda Goode officiating. Burial will follow in the Smith-Tucker family Cemetery, Chase City, VA. The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until service time.
