Carolyn Elizabeth Roberts Seymore

Mrs. Carolyn Elizabeth Roberts Seymore, 57, of Saxe, VA entered eternal rest Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Wayland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Keysville, VA. Mrs. Seymore was born in Drakes Branch, VA March 17, 1957 to the late Kermit and Florence Oliver Roberts.  She attended the schools of Charlotte County, VA and was a former employee of D-Scan, Inc., South Boston, VA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Seymore, Sr., three granddaughters and one brother. Cherishing her memories are six children, John Seymore, Jr. (Katrina) of Lynchburg, VA, Jamond Seymore (Anna) of Chase City, VA, Shavon Wilson (Randy) and Tina Seymore both of Saxe, VA, Nico Morton (Keisha) of South Boston, VA and Larnell Evans (Jennifer) of Keysville, VA; 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Goode of Saxe, VA and Cora Jones of Drakes Branch, VA; three brothers, George Roberts (Linda) and Leon Roberts (Ester) both of Drakes Branch, VA and Andrew Roberts of Red Oak, VA; two aunts, Marie Hutcherson and Lucy Baynes; one sister-in-law, Geraldine Cook; one brother-in-law, Michael Seymore and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends. Funeral Services for Mrs. Carolyn Elizabeth Roberts Seymore will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the chapel of Giles-Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chase City, VA with Rev. Phillip Staten, officiating. Burial will follow in the Roberts Family Cemetery, Drakes Branch, Virginia. Public viewing for family and friends Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
