Miss Kay Frances Downey, 76, of Boydton, VA and formerly of Nelson, VA entered eternal rest Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Palmer Springs Family Care, Boydton, VA.
Miss Downey was born on April 1, 1936 in Nelson, VA to the late Joe Perkins and Roxie Downey. She attended the schools of Mecklenburg County, VA and attended Wharton Memorial Baptist Church, Nelson, VA.
Cherishing her memories are one daughter, Frances Grant of Atlanta, Georgia; one granddaughter, Tanikwa Hart; one great-granddaughter, Tasja Grant; devoted aunt, Lucy Benjamin; devoted cousin, William Downey and a vast number of other loving relatives and caring friends.
Funeral services for Miss Kay Frances Downey will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the chapel of C.H. Harris Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Rev. Andy Hargrove delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the Wharton Memorial Garden, Nelson, VA.
